Soap Opera Couples, General Hospital, Days Of Our Lives
- Dylan has loved soap operas since she was old enough to sneak peeks at the television instead of napping. Her first television memory isn't of Big Bird or "Mr. Rogers," it's of "General Hospital's" Anna Devane.
- As a teenager, the accent wall in her bedroom was comprised of photos of her favorite soap opera couples, with Brenda and Sonny from "GH" serving as the centerpiece.
- She is a panel member on two popular soap opera-focused podcasts: "Soapdish: Salem Style" and "Soapdish: Port Charles Style."
Experience
Dylan is a freelance entertainment writer, book reviewer, and podcaster. She writes a column for TV Source Magazine that offers in-depth opinion pieces on soap operas. While part of the review team for the website Love In Panels, Dylan had the opportunity to interview best-selling romance novelists such as Laquette and Adriana Herrera and was a featured panelist for the Chicago-North Chapter of the Romance Writers of America at their 2019 Spring Fling convention. She's written several fan fictions for various fandoms and is working on her first novel (an LGBTQ romance).
Education
Dylan attended the University of North Texas, majoring in sociology and minoring in media arts.
