Experience

She continued this love of newspapers in college, serving as the digital managing editor and staff writer of her school's newspaper, "The Monitor." During her last year of undergrad, Averee was an editorial intern at Her Campus, covering news, pop culture, style, beauty, and relationships relating to Gen-Z women. Before joining The List team, she completed her master's at Columbia Journalism School, where she developed skills in on-the-ground reporting in New York City and enriched her focus on cultural feature writing.
