In college, Becki was a news editor for The Harvard Crimson and covered the crime beat. While in graduate school she started a food and wellness blog and began writing for The List in 2016. She joined as an editor for The List and other Static Media brands full-time beginning in 2017 and briefly worked on the scripting team. After taking a break from the freelance world to get married and start a family, Becki returned to writing for The List and joined the Daily Meal team in 2022.

Becki has a bachelor's degree in Psychology from Harvard University and a master's degree in Counseling Psychology from Boston College.
