Timelines
While renovating a house for Whitney and Martin Gaspar, Chip and Joanna Gaines get the news that Whitney has gone into labor 2-weeks early, throwing a wrench in their original timeline. The crew was scrambling to finish the project so the Gaspars could arrive with their new baby.
Hoarding Situation
The Gaines were filming a segment for their new spinoff series “Fixer Upper: Welcome Home” when they unknowingly walked their clients through a home filled with debris and garbage. In a clip posted by the official Magnolia Network YouTube page, Joanna said, “I've never seen anything like this.”
Karate Kicking
Chip spices up Demo Day by challenging Joanna to a karate kicking competition and she goes all in and smashes through the drywall, but gets stuck. After Chip helps her, he picks up the ante and throws his whole body against the thin drywall, going through and gladly not breaking anything.
Hammer Privileges
In an episode of “Fixer Upper: Welcome Home,” Chip gets a little too enthusiastic about Demo Day and can't wait to get the destruction going. Joanna notices a large window hidden behind a piece of drywall and confiscates Chip’s hammer because there is a chance he’ll break the window.
Crew Keeps It Real
While revealing Chip’s passion project, the Gaines’ enlist the help of their second oldest son, Duke. However, it’s Crew that steals the show when Chip excitedly asks, “Crew, do you want to live here?” but the toddler doesn't skip a beat before answering, “No!”
