Before marrying the famous quarterback Patrick Mahomes, Brittany Mahomes was involved in many athletic pastimes during her high school years in Whitehouse, Texas.
In fact, her very first Instagram post indicates her passion for horseback riding. She was also a proud member of both the soccer team and the cheerleading team at
her school.
Teenage Romance
Patrick said in a 2019 interview that he and Brittany had been dating since the 10th grade, a fact supported by their Instagram posts that date back to 2011.
In May 2013, Patrick posted pre-prom photos, calling her the "best prom date." In December 2013, Brittany shared a photo of a loving moment between them at his senior formal.
Record Breaker
Mahomes continued her passion for soccer at the University of Texas at Tyler, where she played as a forward for their team, the Patriots, from 2013-2017.
She scored 31 goals and provided 16 assists, becoming the second-highest scorer in program history and the first UT Tyler player to complete three hat-tricks in
one career.
Pro Soccer
Mahomes' impressive college soccer career caught the attention of the Icelandic club team UMF Afturelding/Fram, leading to her signing a contract in 2017.
Her season abroad was a successful one. Her team was promoted from Iceland's third-tier league to its second-tier league, partly due to her finesse on
the field.
Personal Trainer
In 2017, Mahomes retired from professional soccer to pursue a career as a Certified Personal Trainer and launched her own fitness website, Brittany
Lynn Fitness.
There, she offers various workout programs and shares her fitness philosophy, emphasizing hard work, dedication, and a no-nonsense approach to achieving strength and muscle growth.
