Royal fans were shocked in 2020 when Prince Harry gave up his position in the royal family and left the UK with his wife Meghan Markle and son Archie to live a quiet life in the United States. Harry left to save himself and his wife from bullying at the hands of the British press, though he kept his title as prince — but could that change in the near future?
Harry definitely doesn't regret his move, telling fellow Brit James Corden, "We all know what the British press can be like [...] So I did what any husband and what any father would do." However, as his years away from home grow in number, Harry has lost more and more public support, and pressure is mounting to completely strip him of his titles.
Harry and Meghan's infamous interview with Oprah Winfrey also didn't help matters, as they leveled accusations of racism and more against the royal family. When Prince Charles, Harry's own father, takes the throne, he will have the power to revoke his son's title as a prince; only time will tell if Harry will become just another "mister" on the block.
