Unpaid Tuition
Former President Donald J. Trump has faced multiple accusations of fraud in regard to his finances over the years and some of those accusations targeted his youngest son, Barron. A Facebook post claimed that Barron was kicked out of school for unpaid fees, but he only switched schools to Oxbridge Academy in West Palm Beach, Florida.
White House Move
Melania and Barron Trump didn’t immediately move to the White House after Donald Trump’s inauguration. While this was unusual, it was only so Barron could finish the school year at the private school he attended in New York City.
COVID
Barron did not test positive along with his parents for COVID-19 when his father tweeted, “Tonight, FLOTUS and I tested positive for COVID-19.” Melania later confirmed that her son only tested positive a few days later and was glad he had no symptoms.
No Love for Dad
The rumor that Barron doesn’t love his father stemmed from the book “Betrayal: The Final Act of the Trump Show” by journalist Jonathan Karl. In it, Karl stated that anytime the president asked Barron if he loved him, Barron would respond, “‘Uh, I don't know,’” but this isn't proof that Barron dislikes or doesn't love his father.
Forgetful Father
This rumor started when Donald Trump came out against vaping in 2019. Vanity Fair quoted Trump as saying the issue was important to his wife because “she's got a son,” and many noticed that his phrasing made it seem like Barron was just Melania's child; this was likely just a slip of the tongue, but many late-night hosts poked fun at him.
