Every wedding is unique and special, but wedding trends will never stop being a thing. In 2022, many brides are drawing inspiration from nature, and florists have revealed the most popular flowers in today's bridal bouquets, including garden roses, baby's breath, peonies, and snapdragons in pinks and whites, which all come together for a vintage-style appeal.
Other brides are being more minimalistic and carrying just a few carefully-chosen blooms; another trend is cascade bouquets, which include low-hanging vines and greenery mixed with flowers like anemones, orchids, and jasmine. Florist Lilli Wright also says many couples are going bold with their flower colors for a surprising reason.
Due to the pandemic, a flower shortage — especially for white flowers — is causing florists and couples to get creative with their bouquets. Beyond using bolder colors, ask your florist to incorporate flowers that mean something to you, or try dried flowers in your bouquet; these are easier to acquire in these exceptional times and add dimension and uniqueness to your design.
