When asked if same-sex couples will be portrayed in GAC holiday films, Bure told the publication, "I think that Great American Family will keep traditional marriage at the core."
Citing it was offensive that Bure would create a movie to exclude LGBTQIA+, Siwa said on Instagram, "This is rude and hurtful to a whole community of people."
