"Love It or List It" viewers enjoy the amusing banter between co-stars Hilary Farr and David Visentin, and their chemistry is just as strong off-screen.
They met when they auditioned for the show and have become close friends. In an interview with TV Insider, Farr said, "David makes me laugh and is terrific to work with."
Visentin feels the same way about his co-star. "I have to give credit to Hilary. The banter we enjoy is because of what we are able to create together," he told AZCentral.
Friendships also blossom between stars on different HGTV shows, such as Ben and Erin Napier of "Home Town" and Chip and Joanna Gaines of "Fixer Upper."
In 2017, Erin told Fox News, "Chip and Joanna have been [...] lovely mentors to us," and added that both couples are interested in showing people that home is a special place.
Their children are also related to one another: Anstead and Hall's son, Hudson, is the younger half-brother of El Moussa and Hall's daughter, Taylor, and their son, Brayden.
Salmoni said that McGillivray supported her when she joined the show. Their similar energy levels bolster their friendship, and they don't take themselves too seriously.
"Bargain Block's" Keith Bynum and Evan Thomas, real-life business and life partners, have a close friendship with their Realtor co-star, Shea Hicks-Whitfield.
Hicks-Whitfield says, "Keith is excellent when it comes to the vision [...] Evan [is] brilliant with carpentry and building [...] and I'm really good when it comes to pricing."
Bynum shared photos of the trio on Instagram and captioned one, "Monday is Shea Appreciate Day!!!" while complimenting her on bringing in multiple offers over the asking price.
