In early May 2022, HGTV star Erin Napier shared with her Instagram followers that last summer a stalker had moved to her hometown of Laurel, Mississippi, to be closer to her three-year-old daughter, Helen. The stalker had even bought a house a block away from the Napier family home and had toys for Helen to play with.
The "Home Town" star opened up about the decision she and her husband, co-star Ben Napier, made to keep their daughter's face off social media. Erin explained it is their job to protect Helen, and that their daughter doesn't owe "Home Town" fans anything since the publicity isn't the little girl's choice.
Erin acknowledged that because of their work, the Napiers can't ‌be a normal family, but even when they're in the thick of filming their hit HGTV show, she and Ben go home each day to spend lunchtime with their children and see them at least once again during the day. The Napiers are also parents to one-year-old daughter, Mae.
As for how the busy reality TV star juggles a demanding career and being a mother, Erin said, "You've got to have great grandmothers. And we have an awesome nanny — it was my babysitter when I was little." She went on to say, "It's a very strange career we found ourselves in, and we want the girls to be a part of our life in every way," Erin shared.
