Ivana Trump’s funeral was held on July 20, 2022, following reports that she had passed away from a heart attack on July 14. While Ivana's first husband Donald and their three children, Ivanka, Eric, and Donald Jr., were expected to attend her funeral, the unexpected attendance of Donald's current wife Melania and their son Barron turned the affair into a family reunion.
All of Donald Trump's children were in attendance at the funeral mass for Ivana, including Tiffany Trump, his daughter with his other ex-wife Marla Maples. In a heartfelt eulogy delivered by Ivanka Trump, she praised Ivana's nurturing mothering style, saying, "Growing up, my mother didn't tell me a woman could do anything she wanted to — she showed me."
Donald and Ivana maintained a good relationship even after their 14 years of marriage ended in divorce. The former couple was on such excellent terms that Trump used to request Ivana’s input on his appearances during his presidency. However, tension bubbled between the former first lady, Melania, and Ivana, with the latter considering herself "the real first lady."
