How Much Does The Cast On Young And The Restless Make Per Episode?

The amount a soap opera star earns every episode varies depending on the show and the actor. After all, a seasoned veteran who has been a fan favorite for years will likely earn more than a newcomer, so how much do the seasoned vets on "The Young and the Restless" make compared to the rest of the cast?
If you're a "under-five," which means you appear on "The Young and the Restless" without a contract and have less than five lines per episode, you don't make much money. As of 2019, it was reported that under-fives earned between $450 and $500 every episode.
New contract players, like Allison Lanier, who plays a recast Summer Newman, might earn around $1,000 each episode. Stars who have carved out a name for themselves and helped attract viewers for the past five to ten years can expect to get paid around $1,500 every show.
It's not the same for the show's megastars, such as Eric Braeden (Victor Newman), who marked 40 years on the show in 2020, can earn up to $5,000 every episode. Melody Thomas Scott (Nikki Reed Newman), Peter Bergman (Jack Abbott), and Eileen Davidson (Ashley Abbott) may earn up to $3,000 per episode.
