Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee will occur between June 2 and June 5, and since it’s a major holiday, U.K. residents can enjoy the two days off work and celebrate Britain's longest-reigning royal. It was rumored that the queen’s great-grandchildren would ride in a carriage during the show’s final day of performances.
Prince William and Kate Middleton’s three children — Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Princess Louis — will participate in the parade during Trooping the Colour, which will be the first time the children ride in the carriage procession. Trooping the Colour will be the first big event of the holiday and feature over 1,200 military personnel and 240 horses.
William and Kate's children are also expected to ride with their mom at the Superbloom flower show, an event that transforms the royal moat gardens into a floral utopia. The young royals’ appearance will most likely not be confirmed until just prior to the events, but fans are hoping they’ll be able to see the three kids.
The queen’s Platinum Jubilee is a family event, so royals are expected to attend, including Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. The final event of the Platinum Jubilee will involve the Gold State Carriage, which was used during Queen Elizabeth’s coronation and Golden Jubilee in 2002; this time, the coach will serve as a museum exhibit featuring historic footage of Her Majesty's coronation.
