In 2012, Adam Levine was emailing models to star in his next music video and Behati Prinsloo answered. Levine did not end up filming the music video, but the couple continued to correspond via email and unintentionally fell in love before finally meeting in person in Los Angeles.
Early Breakup
The couple separated for two months in 2013, with Prinsloo saying they got back together after realizing “it was the worst decision.” A rep for Levine said back in 2013, "He realized he really does love her and she was the one," adding, "They are in love."
Proposal
Levine proposed to Prinsloo in 2013 shortly after rekindling their romance by getting down on both knees. He told “Live with Kelly & Ryan” in 2014, “I got on that knee and everything changed immediately. I lost my equilibrium” and had to add the other knee too.
Destination Wedding
The couple married in July 2014 at Flora Farms in Los Cabos, Mexico, in front of friends and family, which included many famous faces. "Everyone was having so much fun," a source told People, adding, "Adam and Behati didn't stop smiling the entire night."
Career Support
Levine and Prinsloo are each other's number one fans, supporting one another's careers. Prinsloo has been spotted multiple times in the audience at a Maroon 5 show cheering for her husband, and Levine was in the front row and giving his lady a standing ovation at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show.
