Christina Haack is known for her house hunting and interior design skills, which have made her the star of two HGTV shows. However, Haack has in the public eye more than she would like, and says that “my goal right now is just to focus on my kids and keeping my private life — which may be why she just bought a new home in Nashville.
Haack says she “fell in love with Tennessee” during a visit, and “being out there on all that land reminded me of my favorite childhood memories.” She wants to give her children the same kind of experience, so she purchased a $2.5 million Nashville farm house; it was on the market for only a day before her offer was accepted.
Haack's new vacation home measures at 5,000 sq. ft. on 24 acres of land, with 6 bedrooms, 5.5 baths, a pool, and a wraparound porch. The interior has crisp, white, modern designs that are a staple of Haack's, plus a formal dining room with a chandelier made from antlers; the overall vibe is both rustic and elegant.
Haack’s wraparound porch is the property's prominent outdoor feature, and it’s a must for the home’s “southern charm” vibe. Haack told People about her childhood in the country and how she “felt so carefree[...] hanging with [her] cousins on all the land.” Now she can give her children the opportunity to do the same.
