Country music star Toby Keith has passed away after a long battle with stomach cancer.
A statement on his website revealed he was surrounded by his nearest and dearest.
In June 2022, the singer shared on X that he had received his diagnosis six months prior and was undergoing “chemo[therapy], radiation, and surgery.”
Keith added that he would be stepping away from the limelight and canceling future shows as he focused on bettering his health. He was 62 years old.
