In June of 2022, actors Jack and Kristina Wagner of "General Hospital" tragically lost their 27-year-old son, Harrison, to substance addiction. The Wagners were always candid about their son’s struggles, and Jack had asked for the public's help via social media when Harrison relapsed and went missing for a week.
Unfortunately, the search ended in tragedy when Harrison was found deceased in his car in Los Angeles. As a tribute to their son, Jack and Kristina created the Harrison Wagner Scholarship Fund in collaboration with the New Life House Recovery Community, an organization that aims to help young men dealing with addiction.
Jack Wagner posted a video on Instagram on July 23, 2022, speaking out for the first time since Harrison's death. Expressing his gratitude to fans, the actor said, "Thank you all so much for the love and kindness that you've sent. I can't tell you how much it's meant to me," adding "It's helped me more than you'll ever know."
Jack has since returned to filming Season 10 of the Hallmark Channel show "When Calls the Heart," while his wife Kristina has yet to return to "General Hospital" as Felicia Jones. The couple received overwhelming love and support from the cast and crew of "General Hospital"; the Wagners even met on the set of the iconic soap.
