Jenny Slate On Tillamook And Marcel The Shell With Shoes On

Jenny Slate is best known for her roles in "Obvious Child," "The Secret Life of Pets," Disney's "Zootopia," and Netflix's adult animated series "Big Mouth." The List spoke with Slate exclusively about her collaboration with dairy firm Tillamook, as well as her new film "Marcel the Shell with Shoes On," and how the two have some crucial connections.
Slate has partnered with Tillamook for their second annual Partnership for Creamier Ice Cream campaign, which emphasizes the importance of sharing products made with love and developing community through products. Slate told The List, “I really like that Tillamook is farmer-owned and [...] it's really important to support the companies that are doing the right work for our planet and for our communities.”
The "Marcel the Shell" movie is out June 24, 2022, and Slate ensures that, “Marcel is just as you remember, there's just more of him and more to discover. And it's like seeing an old friend again.” She goes on to say that she does not want to reveal too much about the film because she wants it to be a surprise.
"Marcel the Shell" and her partnership with Tillamook are both about community and bringing people together. Slate said, “Focusing on community and what it means to be within one and to serve one, is a process and a set of behaviors that is always going to be worth it.
