Will Smith slapped Chris Rock at the 2022 Academy Awards for making a joke about Smith's wife, Jada Pinkett Smith, prompting a slew of celebrity reactions. Actor Josh Brolin was present during the slap and now he has a few words to say about it.
Everyone seemed to be having a good time at the ceremony before the slap. Regina Hall, the night's third co-host, summoned some of Hollywood's leading men on stage for a COVID farce, in which she gave Brolin and Jason Momoa a full-body pat-down.
While the majority of the audience was taken aback by Smith's performance, Brolin was eager to return to the stage and get in the middle of the action. Brolin said, "I was at the Oscars and I couldn't stop pacing. Because part of me wanted to be in the center of it. I wanna know who the f***'s at fault."
