Since Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's decision to leave the royal family, royal fans haven't gotten many glimpses into their lives. As a result, when they do make a rare appearance, all eyes are on them.
The Sussexes have a €112 million production deal with Netflix, which means they must produce content for the streaming service. This could be one of the reasons Harry and Meghan have been confirmed to attend the 2022 Invictus Games, which will take place from April 16 to April 22, 2022.
This comes after Meghan and Harry failed to deliver the content they promised not only to Netflix but also to Spotify. Meghan has decided to attend the 2022 Invictus Games in order to film for the streaming service, claiming she “is excited to travel with Harry for the event, which is certainly close to his heart."
A documentary crew will follow the Duke and Duchess of Sussex as they spend six days in The Hague, Netherlands. Harry has been practicing Dutch in order to communicate with people during the nearly week-long event, and in a video posted to Twitter, Harry asks Dutch athletes, "So how do I say, 'Good afternoon. You've done a great job,' in Dutch?"
