Meghan And Harry's Seats At The Queen's Funeral Is Raising Eyebrows

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, Duke and Duchess of Sussex, have had a strained relationship with the royal family since stepping down from their duties in 2020, but put those differences aside to honor the late Queen Elizabeth II. However, some members of the public speculate that the royal family is still finding ways to snub the Sussexes.
Harry and Meghan did not receive preferential seating during the funeral services for the queen. King Charles and Queen Camilla, Prince William and Catherine Middleton, and Prince George and Prince Charlotte sat in the front row, while Harry and Meghan were placed in the second, next to Princess Beatrice and her husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.
The funeral seating arrangements were made in order of precedence, but some fans on social media questioned why Harry, the son of the new king, was bumped to the second row, especially because non-working royals Zara Tindall and Peter Phillips sat in the front row. One critic simply called the decision "petty behaviour."
Another social media user wrote, "Harry is still our King's son whether people like it or not and should never have been hid in the second row." Meghan and Harry were also disinvited from a state event at Buckingham Palace after the royal family decided that only working royals should be in attendance; a friend of the couple called the decision "beyond bonkers."
