The British public has been dissatisfied with Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's decision to leave their royal duties for a quieter life in California. However, several organizations Meghan worked with while serving with the royals still adore her and maintain in touch, and one of these organizations just publicly praised the former working royal.
Although she is no longer in the United Kingdom, she continues to work with charities close to her heart, like Hubb Community Kitchen, which works to deliver food for the victims of the tragic Grenfell Tower fire on the fifth anniversary of the event. One of the Duchess of Sussex's first duties as a royal was to partner with the charity on a cookbook.
The group shared a photo of Meghan on Facebook with the caption, "Always very thoughtful, today we received a lovely voice message from the Duchess, being the 5 year anniversary of the Grenfell tragedy, asking how we are, about our children and families and giving us news of hers," adding, "Just being her beautiful kind self."
