On Oct. 21, 2021, while on the set of the movie “Rust,” Alec Baldwin shot and killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins. We still don't know who is to blame, but footage from a body cam on set shows Alec Baldwin’s reaction after the shooting, and some Twitter users say it shows Baldwin's remorse, while others say it shows the opposite.
One Twitter user wrote, “He was broken. I saw footage of him crying,” while another says, “He doesn’t seem deeply concerned [...] 'What's her story' seems like an odd way to ask how she is.” TMZ has their own take: “Alec Baldwin was deeply concerned over the condition of Halyna Hutchins just minutes after she was shot on the set of 'Rust.’”
Baldwin appeared somber in the video as he asked officers about the condition of Hutchins and director Joel Souza, who was also shot. Investigation into the shooting is still ongoing, as the Sheriff’s office is waiting on reports, so it may still be a while before we know who to charge with the death of Halyna Hutchins.
