Queen Elizabeth II has sat on the throne for longer than any other royal in British history, and her Platinum Jubilee celebrates the 70 years that she’s served as queen. Throughout the years, the queen’s overall style has stayed relatively the same; however, as of June 2022, Elizabeth is trying on a new hairstyle.
The queen has always been associated with a timeless and classy style, even after all these years. During her Platinum Jubilee celebrations, Queen Elizabeth slightly changed her look and opted for shorter hair, and her longtime stylist, best friend, and closest aid Angela Kelly has written about giving the queen her new hairdo.
In Kelly's book, "The Other Side Of The Coin: The Queen, the Dresser and the Wardrobe," she says she "was shaking" with nerves while trimming and styling the hair of the most important woman in England. However, Kelly added, "The Queen was so kind as she advised me on the very specific way to put the rollers in."
