Jamie Chung debuted as a cast member on "The Real World: San Diego" in 2004, and she has gone from a college-age reality star to a serious actor with roles in "Once Upon a Time," "Lovecraft Country," and the upcoming film "Reunion." Chung hasn't forgotten her roots and has spoken positively about her time on a reality show, but would she do it again?
For now, Chung has no plans to return to reality TV, telling The List, "Aren't we all living in our own little reality television show on social media?". In the 2000s, we depended on reality shows to get a glimpse into peoples' personal lives, but now social media is doing the job, and Chung has plenty of excitement in her life without being followed by a camera.
Chung is now a busy mother of twin boys, which can be a pretty hectic job, but she feels it "would be a lot more tame" than anything viewers were eager to see on "The Real World." She reiterates that her first time on TV was "was one of the most interesting moments and experiences that I got to live through, and I'm very grateful for it."
