“Bridgerton” viewers were upset that Regé-Jean Page did not come back for Season 2, and many were wondering if Simone Ashley, who plays Kate Sharma, would make a similar decision before the third. Luckily, the "Sex Education" star had an exciting update for "Bridgerton" fans when she was asked about the show during a recent interview.
Ashley revealed to Deadline that fans of “Bridgerton” can expect to see a lot more of Kate Sharma — and her relationship with Anthony Bridgerton — in the future. She continued to say, “I think everything is just starting.”
The Surrey-born actress is hoping to see more of Kate’s role as Viscountess, saying she’s “excited for her to have a home and to have a family.” Fans are in agreement, excitedly awaiting to see more of her in the third season, even if the primary focus will be on a different romance.
