“Euphoria” is the second most watched television show on HBO, just after “Game of Thrones.” The show centers around the turbulent lives of a group of teens in high school, and though the series' actors are not teens themselves, two of the stars, Zenday and Angus Cloud, actually attended school together in real life.
Zendaya and Cloud attended the Oakland School for the Arts; the school is quite large and Zendaya is two years older, so the future co-stars didn't really cross paths. Their career stories are also strikingly different, as Zendaya got her big break at 14 years old, while Cloud was picked up by a “Euphoria” casting director while working at a restaurant.
Although Zendaya and Cloud weren’t friends growing up, after landing lead roles in “Euphoria,” they created a lasting friendship. The friends looked extra close during the first shots of their Season 2 table read, and fans are eagerly waiting to see Cloud and Zendaya back on screen for Season 3 of the show.
