Lori Loughlin is most recognized for her role as Aunt Becky on "Full House," but she is also known for her work on the Hallmark Channel, appearing in several original movies and TV series. In 2019, however, the network severed connections with Loughlin.
The cause for Loughlin's departure from the Hallmark Channel was her involvement in the 2019 college admissions scandal. Loughlin and her husband, Mossimo Giannulli, agreed to pay $500,000 in bribery to have their two daughters admitted to the University of Southern California.
Soon after the allegations broke, Hallmark issued a statement saying, "We are no longer working with Lori Loughlin." The statement went on to say that all productions, including the "Garage Sale Mysteries" series, which has been on the air since 2013, would be halted, and her completed work would be deleted off the channel.
