Megyn Kelly, the journalist and news anchor best known for a 12-year run at Fox News, was once offered a major deal that would've landed her on Fox's rival network, CNN. She explained the reason she couldn't accept CNN's offer on an April 15, 2022 episode of "The Megyn Kelly Show."
Megyn knew CNN viewers wouldn’t like her, so she turned down the lucrative offer: "I knew who my fans were, and I knew that my Fox viewers were not going to follow me to CNN and that the CNN viewers were gonna hate my guts." She also criticized CNN for lacking anchors who are "even trying to pretend to be fair."
Rather than retiring after leaving mainstream media, Megyn created her own independent media company, from which she launched "The Megyn Kelly Show," a daily radio program. She told People, "I want the fight. I enjoy discussion, fierce discussion and debate. I can't imagine giving that up again."
