The Reason Melania Trump Didn't Have Another Kid After Barron

In March 2006, Donald and Melania Trump welcomed their first child into the world around 14 months after their January 2005 wedding. Barron is Donald’s fifth child, but his only child with Melania, and both have weighed in about why they haven’t had more.
Melania has said that being a mom is “my first job. The most important job ever.” However, as much as she loves being a mom, she acknowledged to ABC News in 2013 that having another child might simply be too many things to juggle, considering how much she had going on in her life.
In 2016, CNN's Anderson Cooper led a town hall discussion with Donald and Melania Trump, and while answering an audience question, Melania once again raved about being a mom to Barron. When Cooper followed up by asking if they were planning to have another kid, Donald chimed in and confirmed: “We're not really thinking about [having] more kids.”
