The Super Weird Bedtime Rule The Royal Family Must Follow

The royal family has to abide by some truly wacky rules, like not being allowed to play Monopoly, ever, and requirements to pack specific clothes when they travel. But one of the most bizarre rules is about their bedtime.
It seems a bit much to dictate what time grown adults can go to bed, but adults in the royal family cannot go to sleep before the Queen does. The Queen usually turns in around midnight, so there have probably been many sleep-deprived royals at the breakfast table during her reign.
This odd tradition was broken by rebel royal Princess Diana. The infamously burdened Diana was driven to such extremes during her life that she'd often just excuse herself and go to bed, which was thought to be in bad form, but can you blame her?
