Fans know TikTok is the go-to social media platform to learn new makeup tricks, and one such trick involves blending blush with your undereye concealer to erase dark circles and give you a radiant, lifted appearance. Who would have thought adding a little blush under your eyes could give you a non-surgical facelift?
Makeup artist Spencer started a riot when he shared an 8-second video where he mixed blush with concealer and said, "If you're not blending your blush up to your undereye area, you're missing out—just saying." Doing so can instantly erase dark circles, give you brighter looking eyes, and clear up your complexion.
This TikTok beauty trend works on everyone, because it relies on color theory, where colors opposite each other in the color wheel cancel each other out. In another video, Spencer shared that blush works so well on your under eyes because colors like "pink, peach, or coral" offset the dark undereye area, due to color correcting.
Spencer’s trick went viral, and it was not long before makeup artists were sharing their take on it. Beauty Content Creator Alissia topped off the look with a pink powder blush to set it in place, and makeup artist Tommy Napoli suggested applying blush on the "apple of the cheeks" to give the "illusion of higher cheekbones" and an instant facelift.
