Like any celebrity, David Beckham has dabbled in various fashion trends over the years, but one stands above the rest as an iconic staple for the star athlete. Starting in the 2000s and continuing for some time after, Beckham began wearing nail polish, sparking a new fad in both the U.S. and UK that went on to inspire specialty polish brands.
In 2022, the soccer star was seen wearing bright pink polish during a game, and Beckham also showed off his painted tips at several events and photoshoots, including the cover of GQ. A polish line targeted towards men, called Evolution Man, was launched shortly after Beckham's big style moment, as more men were inspired to have fun with their nails.
In a “like father, like son” moment, David's son Brooklyn was seen sporting bright red polish after Paris Fashion Week in 2020. Brooklyn has shown off his polished nails on social media many other times, and while David hasn't been seen with colorful tips in a while, he still takes care of his nails and encourages people of all genders to get manicures.
