For the majority of the run of the hit television show "Friends," Rachel Green (Jennifer Aniston) and Monica Geller (Courtney Cox) were roommates. Aniston reportedly had a memorable and much more eerie couple of "roommates" in her first Los Angeles home as well.
When Aniston first met her otherworldly roommate, she had just moved from New York City to California. "Things would literally fall off the shelves," she explained in 2017, "the televisions and stereo system would all of a sudden blast, and the coffeemaker would start making coffee."
She revealed more about her eerie situation in 2018, saying that she hired a medium after someone advised her to "have someone come and clear the house." The cause of all the strange activity, according to the medium, was because the uninvited ghost despised Aniston's roommate.
Aniston left the haunted house without informing her roommate of the ghost's hatred, stating, "I feel terrible but I couldn't say, 'It doesn't like you.'" Her encounter with the spirit left an impression on her, and she now insists on having "a healer or medium come through" at every house she visits.
