Tucker Carlson and Susan Andrews met at St. George's School, a private boarding school in Rhode Island, where Carlson thought his wife was "the cutest 10th-grader in America.” Andrews recalls a young Carlson with fondness, stating, "there was a bounce in his walk [...] and I thought, even then, he seemed so optimistic and positive."
Carlson and Andrews married in 1991 and have four children: Hopie, Buckley, Dorothy, and Lillie. Andrews and the kids are mostly kept out of the spotlight, but Andrews has undeniably been a cornerstone throughout their 30-year relationship.
Andrews has juggled the demands of being married to a public figure, including several very emotional incidents. She supported Carlson when he was wrongly accused of rape in the early 2000s, and in 2018, the Carlson family being the target of a threatening break-in.
