Yolanda Hadid’s time on “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” was a rollercoaster ride, from her divorce from David Foster to her suffering from multiple illnesses. In Hadid’s memoir, “Believe Me: My Battle with the Invisible Disability of Lyme Disease,” she opens up about her struggles — but some parts of the book are a bit too honest.
Hadid’s memoir is filled with glamorous photos of herself and her beautiful daughters — and graphic images of parasites that were extracted from her body. The New York Times' Tina Jordan revealed this on Twitter and attached some of the offending pictures, adding that she didn't even “show the [more] revolting pics.”
In addition to Lyme disease, Hadid claims to have struggled with the Epstein-Barr virus and hepatitis, and even said she had a 16-inch worm taken out of her body. Hadid's "RHOBH" colleagues, plus her own ex-husband, often accused her of faking her illness, but her main detractor, Lisa Rinna, has said that she regrets targeting Hadid.
