Breakfast
Camilla loves a hearty, protein-rich breakfast, and her favorite is “cheesy baked eggs” — which you can find a recipe for on the Clarence House's official Instagram. The breakfast is loaded with protein and nutritious greens, giving the royals enough energy to last the day since they have a habit of skipping lunch.
No Fad Diets
Camilla railed against toxic dieting culture, calling it “ridiculous” to “[cut] out dairy and all the things that are good for your bones.” Instead, Camilla prefers to eat a healthy, balanced, organic diet, which incorporates “fresh produce, a lot actually which is produced on their estate,” according to nutritionist Sarah Campus.
Veggies
Tucked in among the royal gardens are bountiful vegetable plots, so fresh veggies are always on the menu. In fact, King Charles turned Sandringham Estate into a fully organic farm, which grows enough produce to keep them stocked throughout the year. Camilla’s favorites include kale, broccoli, carrots, and zucchini.
Dairy
With King Charles as the patron of the Specialist Cheesemakers Association, it’s no surprise that these royals love cheese. However, Camilla's love of cheese goes deeper than flavor. Camilla’s mother died of osteoporosis, which causes a weakening of the bones, and the calcium and vitamin D found in cheese help prevent this.
Treats
Despite being the queen consort, Camilla has some down-to-earth preferences when it comes to indulgent treats. One of her go-to snacks is baked beans on toast, but her favorite comfort food is classic fish and chips. Speaking of her favorite treat, Camilla said, “That smell. You cannot beat proper fish and chips.”
