Tom Cruise Wishes He Never Dumped One Of His Old Girlfriends For Katie Holmes

In 2005, Tom Cruise famously courted Katie Holmes with public displays of affection and declarations of infatuation. He is now reportedly wishing he’d made a different choice.
Before he fell in love with Holmes, Cruise had been dating Hollywood siren Sofia Vergara, who became a household name thanks to her role on the hit ABC sitcom "Modern Family."
Cruise told Oprah Winfrey in 2008 that the love he had for his wife was one that he had never felt, and said how much she meant to him was something he couldn’t articulate.
The star apparently wants to rekindle things with Vergara. A source close to the situation told the Mirror, "It's always eaten away at Tom that he dumped Sofia and chose Katie."
Vergara, a devout Catholic, had reservations about Cruise’s Scientology beliefs when they dated. However, he thinks the timing is right to give their relationship another try.
Cruises’ mission might not be so easy. People reported that Vergara and her new boyfriend, surgeon Justin Saliman, have been seen enjoying date nights all over Los Angeles.
