Trump White House Aide Drops Bombshell Testimony About January 6

For most Americans, January 6, 2021 will go down in infamy. Donald Trump supporters stormed the nation's Capitol in an attempt to prevent Joe Biden's presidential victory from being certified. A bipartisan committee was assembled to review the events of the insurrection, and on June 28, 2022, a former White House aide gave shocking testimony about the riot.
White House chief of staff Mark Meadows provided the January 6th committee with over 2,000 text messages between himself and Trump's supporters leading up to the riots. However, it was Meadows' aide Cassidy Hutchinson who testified that Trump did not care about Capitol rioters carrying weapons; four people died in the crowd during the insurrection.
Hutchinson claims that Trump said, "I don't f***ing care if they have weapons. They're not here to hurt me," also telling his limo driver, "I'm the f***ing president! Take me up to the Capitol now." Hutchinson also alleges that Trump tried to grab the steering wheel of the vehicle he was in and lunged at a Secret Service agent while trying to reach the event.
Trump sounded off against Hutchinson on his social media platform Truth Social, calling her a "leaker" and "phony." "Her fake story that I tried to grab the steering wheel of the White House limousine in order to steer it to the Capitol Building is 'sick'," he wrote. Trump also claimed Hutchinson changed her lawyer and story before taking the stand.
