We May Have Gotten A Sneak Peek At Lilibet Diana's First Birthday Cake

Lilibet Diana had a "lovely," "relaxed and casual" first birthday celebration at her parents' Frogmore Cottage home in the United Kingdom. While many royal fans were disappointed that Lilibet Diana's birthday was not marked with photos of her with Queen Elizabeth II, we may have glimpsed a flower-designed pink cake. Could it have possibly been for little Lilibet?
Prior to her likely creation of Lilibet's birthday cake, pastry chef Claire Ptak has been tasked with baking for members of the royal family before, including the royal wedding cakes for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's 2018 nuptials. However, neither the baker nor Harry and Meghan's representatives have confirmed that Ptak had any dessert-related role in Lilibet Diana's first birthday party.
On June 5, Ptak sparked speculation by posting an Instagram photo of a pink peony-themed cake with a white heart in the caption. The comments section flooded with questions about who the cake was for, with one commenter speculating, "My guess is Lili's smash cake. So beautiful," while another asked, "Is this the cake you made for Lili?"
