Halsey has been upfront and honest since she rose to stardom with her debut album "Badlands." Her open book personality means that we have been offered many insights into her life throughout the years, including her pronouns.
In an Instagram Story from March 22, 2021, Halsey gave an update on her pronouns. In the Instagram story, Halsey says that they now like to be referred to as "she/them," and adds a short note thanking followers for "being the best."
Halsey's focus right now appears to be on releasing new and exciting songs into the public while remaining true to themself. In their latest album "If I Can't Have Love, I Want Power," Halsey explores the topics of motherhood, identity, and body autonomy.
