The hit Netflix docuseries “Cheer” focuses on the professional cheerleading program of Navarro College, where Gabi Butler was one young competitor. Butler wasn’t new to fame; she won national titles at just 8 years old, and competed in an all-star team called Cali SMOED before moving to Navarro.
Butler was a standout star in Season 1 of “Cheer,” but during Season 2, but moved from Navarro and to Weber State University for cheer. She still hasn't strayed from the cheer path just yet; Butler has a huge social media presence and often posts photos and videos of herself doing insane cheerleading stunts.
Gabi is naturally huge on fitness, and she launched her own app called “The Gabi Butler Method” that helps train fellow cheerleaders. While Butler doesn’t see herself doing cheer in the long run, due to the toll it can take on the body, she continues to share her passion on social media and hopes to become a stunt double someday.
