Matthew Perry and Lisa Kudrow, who played Chandler Bing and Phoebe Buffay in "Friends," not only had magnetic on-screen chemistry but also shared a genuine off-screen friendship.
In an interview with Diane Sawyer, Perry confessed to having a crush on Kudrow while filming "Friends." In a red carpet interview, he labeled Kudrow as the funniest cast member.
Kudrow penned a heartfelt foreword to Perry's memoir, "Friends, Lovers, and the Big Terrible Thing," in which she expressed happiness about Perry's overcoming
his addiction.
She encapsulated her feelings with a tender acknowledgment of Perry's resilience, closing with a touching statement: "I'm glad you're here, Matty. Good for you. I love you."
In a CNN interview where Perry served as guest host with Kudrow as his guest, they both revealed a nostalgic desire for the show to have continued beyond its ten-season run.
