What Speaker Mike Johnson Has In Common With The Controversial Duggar Family

Mike Johnson, elected as the Speaker of the House in October 2023, shares a notable similarity with the controversial Duggar family: both use the porn-blocking app Covenant Eyes.
Covenant Eyes is a software that monitors users' online activity on up to ten devices and utilizes accountability partners to discourage access to pornographic material.
In a video taken at an October 2022 "War on Technology" event in Louisiana, Johnson revealed that he and his eldest son, Jack, actively use the software in their household.
The politician said the software was pitched as a way to keep faith groups, church members, and fathers and their teenage sons accountable for not viewing porn.
In 2021, People reported that Josh Duggar and his wife, Anna, also used Covenant Eyes. The findings came years after Josh admitted to a pornography addiction on the family's blog.
While both parties employ Covenant Eyes, it's important to note that there is no evidence to suggest Representative Johnson has any connection to
Duggar's case.
