During Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt's 2000 to 2005 marriage, Aniston’s nocturnal habits initially alarmed Pitt, but he later got used to her walking and talking in her sleep.
Aniston told PEOPLE that insomnia and anxiety about sleep have affected her since young adulthood. She even joked that walking to her bedroom at night was like "walking the plank."
Per Hello!, Pitt divulged in an interview with Conan O'Brien that Aniston would wander around their home while unconscious, adding, "She gets a lot done when she's asleep."
Pitt once found her sleepwalking outdoors — a terrifying prospect since the couple lived on a cliff edge. He eventually became accustomed to her night strolls and left her to it.
Since those days, Aniston has addressed the issue by improving her sleep habits, adopting a routine that includes bathing and meditation before she hits the hay at 8:30 pm.
