The court battle between Amber Heard and Johnny Depp has been a rollercoaster ride, but it's somehow still surprising that when Heard referenced Depp's ex Kate Moss’ name in court, Depp’s attorneys were thrilled. Heard alleged that Depp had abused Moss, implying that Moss would be on Heard's side here, but may be quite the opposite.
A source revealed, “[Moss] is still allegedly friends with Johnny and her testimony wasn't allowed to come in before because it wasn't as relevant.” Mitra Ahouraian, a lawyer, added, “That’s one mistake that [Heard] made, was bringing up Kate Moss, which potentially opened the door to [Depp's team] bringing [Moss] on as an impeachment witness.”
Moss and Depp dated in the 90’s, and in an interview with Hello!, Depp explained why they broke up: “I was difficult to get on with, I let my work get in the way and I didn't give her the attention I should have done.” It's unclear if he and Moss are as friendly as sources claim, but if Moss comes to court, she likely won't be the anti-Depp clutch that Heard was expecting.
