Why Meghan Markle's Name Vanished From Prince Harry's 2023 Invictus Games Program

This year's Invictus Games were set in motion on September 9, 2023. While they initially listed an appearance by Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex, she was conspicuously absent.
According to Express, Markle was scheduled to "take to the stage to host the intimate and moving glimpse into the extraordinary journeys of the Invictus Games competitors."
However, sources close to those in charge of the games have claimed that the original copy stating the duchess would take the stage to give this tribute was "uploaded in error."
The Duchess of Sussex was also absent from the photo shared by the official account for the Invictus Games Foundation, which saw Prince Harry smiling amidst a group of volunteers.
While Markle eventually joined her husband at the games during the eight-day event, she was seen playing a much smaller role this year than she has in the past.
