Melania Trump was invited to sit in the front row at Rosalynn Carter's funeral service alongside her fellow former first ladies. She managed to stand out, but not in a good way.
You don't have to be a fashionista like Melania to know about a few fashion rules that should never be broken. Don't wear white to a wedding; always wear dark colors to a funeral.
The light-colored suit that Trump wore while sitting in the front row ensured all eyes were on her. Many folks on social media took note of her offensive fashion faux pas.
"Everyone, for the most part, respectfully wearing black; Melania, however, looks as if she dropped in before grocery shopping," said one X user.
Another drew parallels to her political position, tweeting, "Melania Trump doesn't wear black to First Lady Rosalyn Carter's service and looks down. Forever out of place."
