Lifetime movies are known for their seemingly implausible and often corny plots. However, they've gained a cult following over the years, and some would even refer to the channel as the ultimate guilty pleasure.

Now, maybe you wouldn't tell a soul how many Lifetime movies you've binged from your couch. Or, perhaps, you're a self-proclaimed Lifetime movie addict. You know all the actors, understand that "based on a true story" is a loose description, and are drafting screenplays in your head that seem to follow an oddly familiar formula.

Love 'em or hate 'em, Lifetime movies have a longstanding history in the American living room. The channel aired its first movie, "Memories of a Murderer," in 1990, and, in 1998, the Lifetime Movie Network launched (Screen Rant), where viewers could watch Lifetime movies 24/7. Keeping up with the times, the Lifetime Movie Club streaming service came out in 2015 for $3.99 a month.

With so many movies to pick from, which Lifetime flick is the best fit for the zodiac sign Aquarius?

Aquarius should watch supernatural and sci-fi movies

While murder, secrecy, teen pregnancy, and romance may be Lifetime's favorite genres, there are a few that fall into the realm of the supernatural and the imaginative. If you were born under the zodiac sign of Aquarius, from Jan. 20 to Feb. 18, then you'll likely connect with the latter.

Aquarians are air signs and known for their intellect. They are determined to step off the beaten path (Cafe Astrology). While they tend to be a bit detached and have a great need for alone time, your Aquarius friend will always encourage you to be true to yourself and embrace your individuality.

If you're an Aquarius, you've likely been stereotyped as someone who believes in aliens (BuzzFeed). And, whether this resonates or not, the generalization is somewhat fitting. "Aquarius tends to be extremely intelligent and very much connected — they can easily channel information that exists out in the ether and bring it into reality," says astrologer Corina Crysler (via Well + Good).

Why Magic Beyond Words: The J.K. Rowling Story is the perfect Lifetime movie for Aquarius

If you were born under the sign of Aquarius, you may just love this Lifetime movie featuring one of the most influential writers of our time, J.K. Rowling. "Magic Beyond Words: The J.K. Rowling Story" was released in 2011, following the early trials of the once-poor British author and the origins of the Harry Potter book series.

Of course, that series went on to spawn eight blockbuster Harry Potter movies and an entire Wizarding World of theme parks, merchandise, spinoff movies, and more.

Otherworldly Aquarians will enjoy the fantastical and supernatural elements of the movie, and watching the genesis of the Harry Potter books is well worth the 90-minute runtime.

While Rowling was born under the sign of Leo, fittingly enough, she has an Aquarius ascendant (Astrotheme). Also referred to as a rising sign, this placement is the mask we show to the world (Allure). An Aquarius rising is a bit eccentric and also strongly associated with the collective and community — upon which Rowling has undoubtedly made a lasting impact.

So check out "Magic Beyond Words" the next time you're looking for a Lifetime movie tailored to your zodiac sign, Aquarius.
